Operator & AI

• Operator now gives clear, direct answers — no more internal tool names or code symbols leaking into responses, and no more inventing capabilities it doesn't have.

• Ask Operator to update, assign, or link a goal or action and it can now make the change directly, checking with you first when a request is ambiguous or would affect a lot of items at once.

• Operator responds faster and never goes silent — you'll see it start working within about a second on every request.

• Operator can now read the actual transcript of a meeting you ask about and link you straight to it.

• Ask Operator to find time and book a meeting — from Slack, Microsoft Teams, or the web.

• Operator remembers what it already told you, so it won't repeat itself or contradict a message it just sent.

• Attaching a file to a conversation no longer locks Operator into a single flow — it keeps following the rest of what you ask.

• Fixed an issue where Operator would incorrectly claim it couldn't see an attached file or update a goal's type.

• Operator chat no longer dead-ends with a "that turn got cut off" error.

Slack & Microsoft Teams

• @-mention Brev in a Slack channel or Teams chat and get a direct answer, with full awareness of the surrounding conversation.

• Brev keeps following a Slack thread it's already answering in, and reacts to acknowledge a message before replying.

• Teams DMs now get a typing indicator and the same conversational memory Slack DMs already have.

• Brev can now send a Slack DM to a teammate on your behalf when you ask it to.

• Slack replies are now just the answer and a link — no more behind-the-scenes narration mixed into the message.

• Brev now correctly turns Slack IDs into real names and pings, and reads a public Slack channel's context around a mention rather than only its own thread.

• Privacy: Brev will not surface private conversation content in a public channel, and only reads from channels it's actually a member of.

Meetings

• Fixed meeting action items sometimes being assigned to the wrong person when two attendees share a name.

Goals & Views

• Fixed bulk-select on the goals list.

• A new lateral alignment layout — horizontal goal cards connected with wavy lines — is available as a third way to view alignment.

• Goal validation now runs consistently everywhere a goal can be saved, so a goal can no longer be saved missing its required metric details.

• Fixed a stall when navigating into the goals view.

• Fixed an AI summary occasionally showing an older version's sources under a newer version's summary.

Check-ins

• The Slack check-in form is simpler to fill out: fewer ways to accidentally exit, a footer that saves and moves you forward, and a progress bar you can now nudge up or down directly.

Settings & Branding

• You can now edit a member's job title directly from the org membership table.

• Fixed the "Meet with Brev" button and the org logo/name display in a few places where they weren't behaving correctly.

Stability & Performance

• Fixed a page-size error that could interrupt cadence pages from loading.

• Fixed a case where Operator's response could silently drop content and get padded with filler.

• General loading-state and first-paint polish across Operator and the sidebar.

Brev Operator

• Ask about your meetings and get the answer in one shot — "my last meeting", "what's happening right now", "when's my next 1:1", or a meeting by name — instead of watching the assistant hunt through upcoming meetings first.
• The assistant starts every conversation already knowing your workspace, so a first question about goals or meetings gets a real answer rather than a request to upload a file — and when a transcript isn't available, it tells you exactly why.
• Turning a meeting or cadence into a document now works on the first try, and when the assistant writes a document, the preview opens on it and stays on whatever you chose to view.
• Importing goals from large PDF files now completes reliably instead of stalling.

Slack & Microsoft Teams

• DM the Brev app in Slack and get real answers from Brev Operator, drawing on your goals and data just like the web app — and if your Slack account isn't linked to Brev yet, it tells you so instead of staying silent.
• Conversations in Slack and Teams are now remembered: a follow-up like "what about last quarter?" picks up where you left off, and those chats appear in your recent conversations on the web.
• Message the Teams bot "home" or "today" for "Your Brev today" — yesterday's meetings, goals waiting on a check-in, and your open actions in one card.
• Asking Brev a question in Slack or Teams now shows a thinking indicator right away, and the answer replaces it in place — no more silent waiting.
• Your Slack and Teams reminder switches are reachable even if your team hasn't set a check-in rhythm yet, and changing that rhythm no longer quietly switches a channel off behind your back.
• Picking Slack channels no longer trips over deleted or archived ones, and a failed Microsoft Teams connection now explains what actually went wrong — including when you simply cancelled it.

Meetings

• Past meetings that were wrongly flagged as cancelled when a recurring series was renamed or rescheduled are back in your meeting lists and timelines — transcripts, agendas, and effectiveness scores intact — however long the series has been running.
• Meeting recaps are stamped with the time the meeting was actually recorded, so a recap can no longer arrive labelled with a slot that hasn't happened yet.
• Narrowing your AI meeting agent's auto-join setting now warns you first and says how many already-scheduled recordings it would cancel — and switching the agent off and back on restores your previous choice instead of quietly downgrading it.

Views & Reporting

• Reports export to CSV and Excel exactly as filtered on screen, and can now be compared against earlier periods so you can see whether adoption, on-track rates, and attainment are moving.
• Admins can choose whether views default to only the most granular current time period or to every active one — annual objectives no longer vanish from a view when quarterly periods are open — and views keep following the current period unless you deliberately pin one.
• The Teams On Track, Ownership & Cascade, and Attainment reports open reliably again, with headers on one line, comparison periods in the familiar order, and a properly rendered Export button.

General

• A tab left open for hours no longer goes quietly stale: when your session expires, Brev detects it and restores you automatically instead of silently pausing updates.
• The "Ask Brev anything" button no longer covers the bottom of your lists — the last row on every page scrolls clear so its controls stay clickable.

Meetings
• You can now hide or redact individual transcript sections, so sensitive parts of a conversation stay private from both teammates and AI features.
• Meeting locks now respect a proper permission hierarchy — org owners, admins, and team admins can each manage locked meetings at their level.
• Meeting recording downloads are limited to the event host.
• Meeting recaps now go to exactly the recipients the host configured.
• Fixed an issue where deleted recurring meetings kept appearing in Cadence, and where canceled meetings weren't handled correctly.
• Fixed duplicate calendar events appearing after large calendar syncs.

Goals & Check-ins
• Projects now live in their own folder, separate from metric goals — so outcome tracking and project tracking no longer crowd each other.
• Metric values now support more than two decimal places.
• Deleting a team no longer leaves its goals orphaned — they're reassigned or removed with the team.
• Fixed the Company Goals section not respecting your default collapse setting, and Goal menu actions not working from the cadence view.
• The check-in activity heatmap now counts only real human check-ins, so your usage numbers reflect actual engagement.
• Fixed a flood of duplicate check-ins triggered by integrations.

Reporting
• New admin reporting for OKR progress and product usage across your organization.
• Improved the flatten filter so it's clearer what you're filtering and why.

Artifacts & AI
• Artifacts now build progressively — you see structure immediately instead of waiting for the whole document, and goal-backed content loads noticeably faster.
• Redesigned the new-artifact page, and you can now copy tiles into a new artifact.
• Better HTML tile rendering, and fixed cursor jumping when several people edit an artifact at once.
• Artifact links can now be sent directly to meeting participants.
• Artifact changes are recorded in an audit log.
• When you ask about data from a connected source, the assistant can now actually reach it.
• Times shown in the app and times used by the assistant now agree.

Accounts & Access
• Refreshed signup and login experience.
• Org admins can act on behalf of a member to troubleshoot issues.
• Deleting an organization now properly signs its members out, and signing in as a deactivated user no longer creates a stray organization.

Performance & Reliability
• Fixed a class of failures where saving larger amounts of data would fail silently and leave the app stuck on the loading screen.

• Present mode — put any artifact on the big screen. A full-screen, TV-optimized view, now with a full-document layout and display-density controls, reachable from any meeting's Artifact tab.
• Faster meeting recording — Record a Meeting kicks off quicker, and you now choose up front whether to record an existing meeting or start a new standalone recording.
• Non-English meetings transcribe again — meetings in every supported language record and transcribe as expected.

Reporting & dashboards

• Artifact templates, now for everyone — save any artifact as a reusable template, share it org-wide, choose whether to save its structure or its content, preview templates read-only, and give tiles real titles.
• Your sidebar, your order — pin views, drag to reorder, and rename or delete from a per-row menu. Your layout is personal now, not tied to the org-wide order.

Goals & check-ins

• Sharper goal suggestions — suggestions match your metric's tracking mode, and values outside the allowed range are caught before they're saved.

Integrations

• Never miss a dropped connection — if an integration's access is revoked or expires, its owner gets an in-app and email heads-up instead of a silent failure.
• Cleaner Outlook connect — accounts without an Exchange mailbox are declined up front, so you don't end up with a broken integration.

Behind a flag — select orgs only

• Advanced KPI tracking — track metric goals as Stay Above, Stay Below, or Stay Between, with full-period conformance, Maintain-aware charts, a quick view, Slack surfaces, and automatic check-in status. An admin switches it on for your org.
• View sharing — a Drive-style Share dialog to share views with specific people or your whole org. Shared views show up in the sidebar and Command Palette and stay in sync live.
• Agent-built charts and diagrams — describe the chart you want in chat and the agent builds it from real goal data; "Chat about this" edits a tile in place.
• More control in agent chat — flip connectors on or off per conversation, plus a new read-only Salesforce connector.
• Artifacts home — a standalone home for all your artifacts.
