Your AI coworker in Slack

• Set up your Slack coworker yourself. Connecting your AI coworker no longer needs anyone to grant you access first. Open AI coworkers in settings, connect Slack, and your coworker introduces itself.
• Cleaner messages. Your coworker mentions a goal only when there's real news about it, instead of tagging every line with one, and links in its messages open the right page in Brev.

Onboarding and setup

• The setup links land where they should. Following "Connect workspace" takes you to the Essentials section itself rather than partway past it, and skipping the coworker step points you at the right place to pick it up later.
• The setup checklist stays accurate. Disconnecting in one tab no longer leaves another tab claiming you're still connected, and returning from a Slack connection no longer repeats the confirmation.

Goals

• "View goals" links show you the goals. Following a link to a saved view widens it to cover the goals it pointed at, even when that view is normally narrowed to a single period. Your saved view keeps its own settings.

Meeting agendas

• Honest agenda authorship. The "Generated by Brev" label appears only on agendas Brev actually wrote. Agendas you start from scratch or from a template are no longer labelled as ours.

Goals & Goal Import

• Importing goals from a file now shows you the plan — goal count, time period, ownership — before anything is created, and waits for your confirmation before writing a single goal.
• Fixed several issues where a goal import could stall partway through, silently drop a follow-up question, or misplace goals when the target time period already existed.
• The import status bar and "View goals" link are now more reliable: the bar no longer claims you have unanswered questions when you don't, and "View goals" always jumps to where your new goals actually landed.
• Goal views now suggest filters to try when your current filters turn up nothing, showing how many goals each suggestion would surface.
• Bulk-deleting goals that share a subgoal now reliably removes the subgoal too, instead of occasionally leaving it behind.
• Adding or removing someone from a team now immediately updates which shared private goals they can see.
• Fixed a status-conflict warning that could show the wrong person's name as the author of an earlier check-in.

AI Assistant

• Assistant-created teams and goal updates, and connected integrations, now appear immediately without needing to reload the page.
• If your connection drops mid-message, the assistant now checks in instead of silently retrying and risking a duplicate action.
• Starting a task that needs an integration you haven't connected yet now shows a card that takes you straight to Integrations settings.
• Dropping a file onto the collapsed assistant button now tells you to open the assistant first, instead of appearing to do nothing; dropping a large image no longer accidentally navigates your browser tab away.
• Fixed a doubled "…" in the assistant's thinking indicator, and a few message-formatting glitches during goal import conversations.
• Your open conversation with the assistant, including any goals it just created, now survives a page reload.
• Slack coworker: fixed missing welcome messages after reconnecting, improved how it tracks which message an acknowledgment belongs to, and improved how it follows up on short replies like "okay" in context.

Integrations

• The Cadences page now shows a health-metrics preview and lets you connect your Google or Outlook calendar directly, without a detour through Settings.
• Google Sheet picker now explains clearly why a sheet can't be selected, instead of showing a raw technical error.
• Every integration marked "Coming Soon" or "Contact us" can now be requested directly with a Request access button.
• HRIS integration cards (ADP, Bamboo HR, Rippling, Workday) now describe what each integration actually does.
• You can now push your edits on an artifact back into the template it was created from, so the template stays current.

Settings

• The Members page now has an All tab showing every member regardless of status.
• Settings preview images load in about a second instead of several, with no blank flash.
• Fixed a bug where the Settings sidebar jumped back to the top when clicking a lower menu item.
• Cleaned up wording across Profile settings and the Slack disconnect dialog for clarity and consistency.

• Importing goals now shows what is happening while your file is read and drafted, and confirms teams and time periods with you before drafting
• If your file contains time periods, you are asked whether one should become your active period

Operator

Operator now handles large files on its own, for everyone. Reading a long document no longer depends on your organization having an early-access flag turned on. Operator pages through the file itself and works with what it needs, so you can hand it a large file and get on with the task.

Settings

A cleaner, more consistent Settings area. Cards across Settings now render as white, lifted panels instead of flat grey ones, so each section reads as its own surface. The Integrations tab is the same width as Teams, Members and Audit logs; Teams and Members now carry the short description every other tab already had; and the Help & support button lines up with the rest of each page instead of drifting toward the window edge.

Across the product

Page titles now start at the same place. Goals, Actions, Artifacts, Cadences, Notifications, Reports and Usage all use the same top spacing, so moving between them no longer shifts the page under you.

A clearer name on the Goals customize panel. The panel that opens from the Customize button is now headed "Customize view", so it says what it changes rather than repeating the button you just pressed.

Getting started is now one smooth conversation

Your first run of Brev has been rebuilt from the ground up. Instead of a stack of setup screens, you now move through a single guided session: tell us about yourself, optionally connect Slack and your calendar right where they come up, and land your first goals before you leave the flow.

• The first person in an organization now gets organization-level goals, not personal ones.
• When Brev asks what outcome you want, it suggests options and lets you write your own.
• Each objective arrives with its key result already estimated.
• Once your goals are in, a clear "go to your goals" button takes you straight there.
• If you connect a calendar during setup, your upcoming events appear inline in the conversation.

Importing your existing goals in one pass

Goal import used to run in stages, asking you to keep going after each batch. Now it imports your file in one continuous step. If Brev cannot match an owner, a team or a time period, it asks you about it while the import is still running rather than failing quietly at the end.

We also fixed a problem where a background import could propose the same question to you more than once.

Projects now carry a delivery window

Projects can have their own start and due dates, shown on both the goal list and the detail panel. A project's expected progress now paces against its own due date instead of the surrounding period, so a project on a different schedule no longer looks behind when it is not.

Trials and billing

Brev now has a complete trial experience, including clear entitlement while your trial is active and a proper trial-ended screen when it finishes. The billing area has been rebuilt around your plan, usage and payment details.

Operator is easier to follow

• When Operator has several questions, they gather in one card that you answer and submit once.
• Operator shows what it is actually doing rather than its internal thinking.
• Goals that Operator creates appear as an inline card, with child goals visible rather than hidden behind a count.
• You can mention a goal or project inline with a slash command while typing.
• Goal creation follows one staged path with a single honest progress bar.

A cleaner, more consistent interface

We made a broad pass over the shell and settings: consistent page headers across every module, a reworked sidebar with search and hover tooltips, one dismiss control in the same place on every banner, and aligned spacing, widths and section ordering throughout Settings. Banners now line up with the content beside them.

Fixes

• Every documentation page crashed on load. It no longer does.
• Moving between pages could crash the app. Fixed.
• The Operator page could crash during heavy use. Fixed.
• Checking in from inside an artifact recorded the wrong percentage.
• Renaming a single occurrence of a recurring meeting renamed the whole series.
• Artifacts deleted from a cadence still appeared in artifact view.
• Artifacts created by Operator could not be deleted.
• The date picker's weekday header rendered white on white.
• Pressing Enter in the cadence artifact editor could exit the artifact or save into the wrong one.
• Meeting recording now respects the host's choice, and everyone can see who turned it on or off.
• Progress tiles rounded incorrectly, and the Company Goal Progress tile counted goals beyond org-level objectives.

Security and reliability

We closed a server-side request forgery in an integration connector, corrected a case where an expired organization could still reach AI features, and fixed background data collection runs that failed when a deploy landed mid-run.

• Importing your goals now shows real-time progress — a bar and a minimized status pill let you watch teams and goals arrive instead of waiting on a spinner, and you can navigate away and come back without losing your place.

• Meetings you've cancelled now show clearly as cancelled, and if the meeting still has a transcript, you'll see it rather than a "not synced yet" message.

• The "someone else is viewing this" badge on shared artifacts now shows up reliably.
• If a recording is host-only, everyone else now sees a clear note explaining why they can't download it.
