Clearer ownership of actions, and private goals stay out of meeting materials

v5.18.4 · October 1, 2026
This release tightens who can see and change what. Actions land with the right owner from the start, and private goals stay private.
New
-
Private goals stay out of meeting materials. Automatically generated meeting materials no longer include attendees' private goals.
-
Assign a suggested action before you keep it. Set the assignee and goal on a suggestion and it goes straight to that person's queue.
-
Only the right people can change an action. An action can now be edited or deleted only by its assignee, their team admins and org admins.
-
Request an integration on the spot. If Auto-track can't find the integration you search for, you can request it right there.
Improved
- My Actions remembers your Group by and Sort choices.
- The join meeting notification also opens the meeting's cadence, so you arrive with the context in front of you.
- When a manual check-in disagrees with the goals aligned to it, you see a quiet warning you can open for details, not a red banner.
- Goal tags show as chips, the same as on actions.
- The Connectors page leads with recommended connectors and a short description of each. Each product appears once.
- The Operator answers faster. When it adds a teammate, it records their name and job title, so they join with a real name.
- Pages load faster and lighter. Links you opened while signed out take you to the right page after you sign in.
- The loading animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
Fixed
- "My goals" could go empty on the last day of a quarter.
- My Actions could stop updating in very large organizations.
- Deleting a goal or team could leave broken links on teammates' screens.
- Deleting a saved view now works reliably.
- The Operator no longer rewrites your own text when it looks like the name of one of its tools.
- Setting tags on goals through the Brev API and CLI now works.
