v5.18.2 · September 26, 2026
A speed and reliability release. Brev loads faster, stays current on its own, and asks for less when your team connects Slack.
New
-
Pages load noticeably faster. The cadence health tile appears several seconds sooner.
-
Open tabs keep themselves current. If a live update is missed or your connection drops, Brev catches up automatically.
-
Fewer Slack permissions. Brev's Slack connection asks for fewer permissions when coworkers connect their accounts.
-
A clear end to the Slack install. Adding Brev to Slack from brev.io finishes on a confirmation page. A cancelled or failed install tells you so.
Improved
- Changes to tags, goal deletions and team deletions show up right away for everyone viewing them.
- When you connect a metric, values that can't be used as a KPI are flagged before you connect.
- People you invite join the team you picked in the invite form.
- Imported goals open in the view that lists them.
- The My Actions agent mode control explains what each mode does.
- Operator chat replies have more room above the message box.
Fixed
- A long value could stretch the KPI preview when connecting a metric.
- Dialogs with long content now stay inside the window.
- The cadence page breadcrumb stays clickable when collapsed.
- "Chat with support" now tells you if the support messenger can't open.
